Our first day with Jaksi
Jaksi is a remarkably well behaved Buhund. Even though his plane showed
up an hour late, he seemed quite calm when we picked him up at the airport. He
did really want to get out of his crate, but none of the whining of crying I'd
expect from our other Bu's. In fact, he has barely whined at all this
entire night, and is getting along great with Kaare and Sophie (and them with
him).
Jaksi is very very black, we already tripped over him at least once. When I
took him for a walk in the dark, he was invisible on the end of an 4 foot leash.
Luckily he's got that white star and those white tips to his feet, can just make
him out with those. He's 5 months old here, so he seems huge compared to
those two when I picked them up.
He's a happy dog. He was all wiggles and giggles in car in the ride
home, and once we got him home, lots of wagging tails on him. He had a
long day and now settled in his crate with one of Kaare's big cow bones for
company, and seems to have zonked out. It's been a very exciting day for him!

Group Shots on the Stairs

(I knew taking pictures of black dogs was hard, but
when you have white ones in the same shot! Wow!... )
This is not Jaksi (it's my sisters new German Sheppard
Dog).
Back to Jaksi
Gee, do we have to get up? He wore us out last night.
